Grab a coffee and let’s get to know each other…
I’ve had an interest in real estate since I was about 18 years old. In fact, back then I used to watch TV infomercials by the real estate investor Carlton Sheets and marvel at how all of the people who provided the testimonials would get very rich by simply following his instructions to buy millions of dollars worth of real estate with absolutely no
money down. It was one of those things that just sounded too good to be true so I never bought his stuff, albeit I remained intrigued. After getting married, my wife and I bought and sold a number of homes, including the purchase of two new construction homes, which we had built for us and we’ve had Real Estate Agents represent us in both buyer and seller capacities in each case. Fast forward a couple more houses bought and sold and as usual, we hired a Real Estate Agent to represent us when we bought our next house. To make a long story short, that experience of working with that agent, to put it bluntly, made me cringe. It also planted a seed of thought in my mind that if I were a Real Estate Agent, I would’ve handled the process with so much more care. So eventually in 2012, at the age of 52, I took the Real Estate course, passed the exam and became a licensed Real Estate Agent with one basic objective in mind. I wanted to provide the type of service that I think people – these days – are not used to; GREAT SERVICE — yes, the kind of service that people are almost kind of shocked by. The kind of SERVICE where my smiles are frequent, when client calls are returned promptly, and when my appointments, promises, and agreements are kept and THE CLIENT can hold me accountable for my actions. At first, I got my feet wet as an Associate Agent with Redfin – still in part-time status – to learn more about real estate by showing Buyers homes, attending home inspections and hosting Open Houses, among other tasks. After 6 months, a full-time position opened up, and I dedicated my life to mastering the art and science of selling homes. Fast forward to today, I have helped 511 families sell their homes during my 8-year tenure with Redfin and I have over 400 amazing written reviews from my clients, most of whom express their gratitude for having me partner with them to sell their homes. I want to continue to help home sellers realize their goals and dreams to move on to their next journeys in life by partnering with them to sell their homes for the most amount of money, in the shortest period of time, and at the lowest possible cost – all with some of the best service they have ever experienced.
