We managed to sneak away for a couple of weeks this summer for a wonderful trip aboard our friends’ boat. We explored the rugged west coast of Vancouver Island, spent a few days docked in Victoria’s Inner Harbour, and finished with a quick visit to Vancouver before taking the train home to Seattle. It was a great adventure and a nice chance to unplug, spend time with good friends, and enjoy one of the most beautiful parts of the Pacific Northwest.
Now that we're back, the late-summer real estate market continues to offer buyers something they haven’t had much of in recent years: Choices. With more homes available and less competition, buyers have more time to make decisions and greater negotiating power.
